For ThrottleMax Calibration, exit at High Stick(Yellow LED)for Limiter mode and Low stick for governor mode(Green LED)
The target rotor speed can be calculated using
the ATV Calculator
Example 1: 2 speed setup:
Gear ratio = 9.3:1
ATV- = 39%, ATV+ = 72%
AUX2 Sw Posn Rotor
RPM
(DOWN)
1200
(MIDDLE)
Disabled
(UP) 1500
Example 2, AUX3 channel sets RPM
The throttle connects to THRO channel (1)
The auxiliary connects to AUX3 channel (8)
ATV setup [TRVL ADJ]
Setup the throttle servo and linkage as close to
+/- 100% ATV as
possible.
AUX3 is already mixed to the flight mode
switch. The ATV in normal flight mode is +100, in flight mode1 the ATV
is 0 and in Flight mode 2 the ATV is -100.
Set the AUX3 ATV [TRVL ADJ] to +100% in N and
Flight S1 and S2 switch positions.
Remove any V curves or idle up curves (they can be
restored after calibration) on the throttle in S1 and S2 flight modes.
Inhibit any mixing on AUX 3. Toggle the flight mode
switch to enter and leave calibration.
Two mixes are used to add offsets
to AUX 3 in each flight mode so that, in this example, Normal mode
disables the Governor, flight mode 1 sets 1200rpm and flight mode 2 sets
1500rpm.
Hint: You can observe the AUX3 range on the [MONIT]
screen
[PROG.Mix1] - This mix flattens the AUX3 channel to
disable the TJ in each flight mode switch position.
SW SELECT ON
AUX3->AUX3
Point-0:->
100
Point-3:-> 0
Point-6:-> -100
[PROG.Mix2] - This mix sets the target rpm to
1200rpm (39%) in flight mode '1' and to 1500rpm (72%) in flight mode 2.
